A week photographing Venice Carnivale

It was like a summer's evening. I imagined people sitting at the tables talking over a drink.

Astronauts, Vikings and Ghosts has been selected for the 30th International Festival for Films on Art (FIFA) to be held in Montreal, March 15-25. It is the world's largest festival of films on art.

My film Astronauts, Vikings and Ghosts is to be broadcast by ZDF/Arte on television in both France and Germany in the new year. I do not have any broadcast dates yet.

We have lost a visionary and creative genius who touched all of our lives.

"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

We can only wonder what ideas he would have brought to the world had he lived.
